New York, N.Y., August 15, 2015 – NBC stations partnered with animal shelters across the country to boost support for animal adoption. Clear the Shelters day took place in August; a time where shelters see high abandoned and surrender rates.

Thousands of people attended the events, hosted by shelters everywhere, to find their new pet. Nationwide nearly 20,000 animals were adopted from over 400 shelters.

HomeAgain was proud to support the Clear the Shelters program to help pets say goodbye to the shelter and hello to a loving, safe home. HomeAgain's mission is to keep your pets continually safe by providing microchip services to help return lost cats and dogs safely home.

HomeAgain microchips are a simple and quick way to provide permanent identification for your pet. They are inserted through a quick injection during an office visit to the vet, and have a patented anti-migration feature to help them stay in place to make them easily scanned.
